OTOH, if Republicans hold on to power, it will radically weaken by faith in the US. It will mean MAGA right has turned into a national death cult. The last 2 years should be enough for anyone but a cultist to abandon Trump.

All of this talk about death cults, but where are the life cults?

I wonder if the cybergeddon that's coming will bring more people back to the open web?

Like, if you're just writing on your own blog and interacting with links and web-mentions, there's less to steal. And there's no one behind your site attempting to gather up little signals about you and what you like.

Honeypots really shrink. Here in the Thicket, someone could hack one of our sites and they wouldn't get that much in the first place, in terms of data, and really nothing about anyone else. The decentralization is a security strategy.

In the Thicket of the Dark Forest, you don't even know if hackers are even there, because large-scale breaches stopped happening.

New projects will continue to start until morale improves.

  • CLI tool for internal work systems
  • Emacs plugin using said CLI tool
  • Pi Pico hello world with modules
  • Headless Blygger backend as a (free) service

Finished CLI tool at work, Pico experiments, Emacs plugin. Now, I need to deploy this headless Blygger service, blygd, so I can use it for experimenting with clients.

Referencing my old feed in a test feed. What a sick day this has been. 🤧

Testing our Superlogical's Rex, and it seems...fine? Zippy and polished software, even in the beta, though I'm certainly not using it for more than a dumb terminal.
